The programme is structured to provide you with the disciplines required to strengthen your knowledge and skills, helping you to pursue further professional or academic challenges. While we understand the importance of theory, our courses have a pragmatic focus on real-life scenarios. Reflecting this, tuition consists of lectures and tutorials and you will also take part in case studies and group work that let you apply theoretical concepts to problems in the real world.

Entry requirements

An applicant must be at least 18 years of age and as a minimum have obtained:

Minimum 2 ‘A’ Level passes, grades A* - E.
or
A NQF Level 3 qualification
or
BTEC National Diploma or Certificate

Mature applicants with evidence of full-time work experience supported by a reference from their employer may be considered on their individual merits. Applications from candidates who lack the normal course entry requirements are positively encouraged. In such cases, the Admissions Tutors must be satisfied that the applicant has the necessary potential, knowledge or experience and motivation to follow the course successfully.

In addition
Students who hold GCSE's, Level 2 or equivalent level qualifications may qualify for direct entry onto the Bachelors degree through our Extended mode of study. This programme combines the Bachelors degree with a Foundation programme and allows students direct access to the degree without having to complete Access programme or A Level or equivalent studies. How to apply

Pre-Application Advice

How to join a Programme

Complete the application form, indicating the programme you wish to follow, the date you wish to commence the programme, and whether you wish to study full-time, Evenings, or Saturday Mornings.

Generally, Programmes commence February, June and October each year.

The completed application form should be returned to the Tourism Department, together with three passport-size photographs and copies of your qualifications (if applicable).

UCAS

Registration and Enrolment

If you are not qualified for the programme of your choice, the School may suggest an alternative programme that suits your needs and qualifications.

Your acceptance letter from the School will inform you of the date on which you should enrol and the duration and cost of the programme.

You should arrive at GSM London on the date specified in your acceptance letter.

You will be expected to make your first fee payment on enrolment, or produce evidence of funding.

Accommodation

If you require accommodation throughout the programme, the Accommodation Officer will arrange this on enrolment.

Further Information

Tuition fees are payable in advance.

Tuition fees are non-refundable.

Overseas students are reminded that they must comply with Home Office regulations on immigration, particularly with respect to attendance. A medical certificate must support absences due to illness.

Programme details are correct at the time of going to press, but are subject to alteration. Programmes will only take place if justified by demand.

All fees are inclusive of government taxes. Students must adhere to the GSM London regulations relating to their programme, a copy of which will be provided on enrolment.

The School reserves the right to refuse to accept or enrol any student.
