A combination of the Airline Fares and Ticketing, Computerised Reservations Systems, and selected Travel Studies modules detailed elsewhere, this is the course for those looking to launch their career in the travel industry.

The programme is intensive and stimulating, with students completing assignments and six examinations.

Those who successfully complete the programme will be presented with GSM London's Diploma in Airline and Travel Studies together with six separate certificates, including qualifications recognised by IATA, Virgin Atlantic, Galileo and the City and Guilds.

Students on this programme will also benefit from our unrivalled job finding and career counselling service. Many will complete this Diploma and find employment in the travel industry, whilst others will continue to study specialist travel courses to further enhance their job opportunities.

This Diploma also forms Parts One and Two of the Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management.

How to apply

Pre-Application Advice

How to join a Programme

Complete the application form, indicating the programme you wish to follow, the date you wish to commence the programme, and whether you wish to study full-time, Evenings, or Saturday Mornings.

Generally, Programmes commence February, June and October each year.

The completed application form should be returned to the Tourism Department, together with three passport-size photographs and copies of your qualifications (if applicable).

UCAS

For details of applying for the BSc programme through UCAS, please refer to the separate BSc prospectus.

Registration and Enrolment

If you are not qualified for the programme of your choice, the School may suggest an alternative programme that suits your needs and qualifications.

Your acceptance letter from the School will inform you of the date on which you should enrol and the duration and cost of the programme.

You should arrive at GSM London on the date specified in your acceptance letter.

You will be expected to make your first fee payment on enrolment, or produce evidence of funding.

Accommodation

If you require accommodation throughout the programme, the Accommodation Officer will arrange this on enrolment.

Further Information

Tuition fees are payable in advance.

Tuition fees are non-refundable.

Overseas students are reminded that they must comply with Home Office regulations on immigration, particularly with respect to attendance. A medical certificate must support absences due to illness.

Programme details are correct at the time of going to press, but are subject to alteration. Programmes will only take place if justified by demand.

All fees are inclusive of government taxes. Students must adhere to the GSM London regulations relating to their programme, a copy of which will be provided on enrolment.

The School reserves the right to refuse to accept or enrol any student.
