What is the GSM London Formation Zone?
The Formation Zone is the place for you if you've got a business idea you’d like to start and develop in a supportive and collaborative environment, or if you are currently running your own business and need advice and support to develop it further.
We support start-ups and existing businesses and also social enterprises across a range of sectors, providing a place where businesses can access the professional advice they need to develop in a positive direction.
We offer a range of services from the ideas generation stage right through to launch, and expanding your business.
Who is the Formation Zone for?
The Formation Zone is aimed at anybody in the GSM London Community (staff, students, alumni, local stakeholders) with a business or social enterprise which requires further support either to develop it towards launch or to grow it sustainably post-launch

* Innovative business ideas aim to create a product or service that is new or improved in order to satisfy a customer need.
What does the Formation Zone offer?
At the GSM London Formation Zone you’ll have the opportunity to meet with business advisors and mentors plus specialists such as accountants, legal advisors, and Intellectual Property (IP) experts. Most of these services are free but there may be charges for more in-depth or complex discussions.
You can make an appointment to talk with the Formation Zone Manager or team to discuss any opportunities or issues you have encountered. Please email [email protected] to make an appointment
You can also benefit from dedicated work areas, allowing you space and time to develop your business. Or if you have already started a business you can benefit from dedicated resources to become more productive, with access to a meeting room and a postal adress, making your business look and feel more professional to both existing clients and new prospects.
There will also be a series of Formation Zone events, providing opportunities to make connections with other young companies, our alumni and external business professionals.
