This degree covers all the key elements you will need to become a successful events manager – project management, strategic planning, budgeting, finance, promotions, marketing and sponsorship, operations and production, health and safety, and risk management. It has been designed with a focus on delivery (with assignments based on major local events locations) and includes, as a final project, the creation of a significant event, which you will take you from initial concept through to final co-ordination.

Entry requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have one of the following:
- BTEC National Diploma or Certificate
- GCSE Maths Grade C or above (or an equivalent qualification)
- Minimum of 2 A Level passes (grades A* to E)
- NQF Level 3 qualification (or international equivalent)
- Bachelor Extended Pathway (Year Zero)
Mature students (those 21 and over) with evidence of full-time work experience supported by a reference from their employer may be considered on their individual merits. Candidates who do not meet the degree entry requirements are encouraged to apply for the Foundation Year. On completion of the Foundation Year you will gain direct entry on to this degree programme, read more about our Foundation, Year 0 programme.
Other equivalent qualifications may be considered if the Admissions Tutors believe applicants have the potential, motivation and knowledge to complete the programme successfully. All applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements will be invited for interview.
Accreditation for prior learning will also be considered on an individual basis.
English Language requirements
If your first language is not English, you will need to demonstrate the following levels of proficiency in English language:
- Cambridge IELTS (Academic Test): 6.0 or above (no less than 5.5. in any skill and no less than 6.0 in the Reading and Writing skills for all Law related programmes)
- Cambridge English (Advanced): Grade C or above (no less than 'weak' for any skill)
- Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic): 55 or above (No less than 51 in any skill and no less than 56 in the Reading and Writing skills for all Law related programmes)
